I am a Cornell University student studying plant science with a concentration in evolution and taxonomy. I hail from a small organic farm just outside of Ithaca, New York, where I grew up surrounded by plants both wild and cultivated. Over the years, I have dabbled in many aspects of botanical art, including plant-based dyes, hapa zome, fresh-flower wedding crowns, and pressed-plant decoupage. I also enjoy working with more conventional media such as watercolor, colored pencil, and graphite. This website showcases independent projects in addition to coursework in Marcia Eames-Sheavly's botanical illustration class at Cornell.
Questions? Comments? Send me a message! I will respond when I get in from outside.
